I've always used Neutrogena soap on my face because I have combination skin that sometimes breaks out in problem areas. Neutrogena worked well and kept any breakouts at a minimum but when I started selling Avon products I wanted to try something from Avon so I bought the Clearskin Immediate Response Acne Cleanser for my face.
The product is a smooth blue that goes on nearly the way a gel cleanser might. After squeezing a dime sized amount of the cleanser into my palm, upon use, my skin immediately feels squeaky clean, the way I want it to and I've had no problems with breakouts while using this cleanser on a daily basis. The product comes in a 5 fl. Oz. tube which is quite large considering the sale price I purchased it was only 3.49. My Neutrogena soap was more expensive and didn't seem to leave my face feeling nearly so clean as Avon's Clearskin Immediate Response Acne Cleanser does.
While I don't have any plans on returning to Neutrogena since the Clearskin cleanser is doing exactly what I hoped it would with excellent results, I do believe this is one of the few products that I've found which can compare to Neutrogena without failure. I love that it goes on so nicely and, although it doesn't actually suds up, it leaves my face feeling so very clean that I know I'm beginning my skin care regimen with fresh, clean skin.

As someone with combination skin that sometimes has breakouts I can attest to the truth of Avon's Clearskin advertising which states that Clearskin® Immediate Response Cleanser significantly improves acne size, redness and swelling AFTER 1 USE. This product really does work wonders and it's very inexpensive in comparison to other comparable products on the market. The product is regularly priced at $5.29 but can be purchased on sale in the brochure for a very meager $3.49.
If I were recommending a skin cleanser for anyone with combination skin that sometimes requires a little something extra to decrease breakouts I would definitely recommend Avon's Clearskin® Immediate Response Cleanser as a worthwhile cleanser.
