Snickers are wonderful to curb your chocolate cravings. I like them because they are packed with peanuts, nugget and caramel. They taste best when fresh. Your getting a layer of nugget, and on top of that getting salted peanuts and caramel, and then the entire bar is dipped in milk chocolate. What a wonderful combination. The chocolate is so smooth and tasty. The caramel is not to chewy and is more so soft and flows with the peanuts which are very crunchy. The nugget is so tasty and a bit on the salty/sweet size. It is very fluffy and soft, and really makes this bar what it is.
Snicker's standard size bar is 2.07 oz. I pay around 89 cents a bar, but for a few cents more you can get them in king size. I don't need the king size bar unless I am sharing, because I could eat an entire king size bar by myself. Look for the brown packaging with Snickers printed in blue.

What does upset me is the amount of stale bars I receive. You can't read the date because it is in code. For instance, we purchased this bar last week (This is the first week of January 2008). Here is the code:
636DYW.. and then I can't read the last three numbers or letters. I feel it is safe to assume this product was stale. I went to call their toll free number but it was late in the evening and they did not answer. I can tell you the packaging I have here has the NFL logo on it, and I guess they had some sort of prize give away which had expired long ago. This is how I know I received a stale bar. This happens all the time, and I think it is because maybe the store clerks have a hard time reading the dates.
I really love the taste of Snickers, but I am going to only give it three stars, because many times I can't get a fresh bar in my area. Then other times they are so fresh and so great tasting.
I will recommend these bars highly, but providing you can decipher the date on these bars. That really gets on my nerves.
