Pros: Rechargable Li-ion battery, clear screen, asthetically pleasing
Cons: Accessories are expensive and hard to find. Memory stick is not included.
The Bottom Line: I would give it five stars if I could find accessories.

| munchkin's Full Review: Sony CLIE® PEG-S320 Handheld |
My Handspring Visor Platinum recently broke after about three months of ownership. I already had the screen protectors, a couple of stylus, the serial cradle, case, etc. So when I went to get a new PDA, I thought I'd get another Visor....
However, I got to Best Buy and saw this great little Sony. It was much more elegant looking than my Visor, it had Palm OS 4.0 (much nicer to use), a nice jog dial, and the battery was rechargable (no more loose AAA batteries running around in my purse!!). What really got my attention though, was the clarity and sharpness of the monochrome screen. Too me, the difference in screen output was like dot-matrix and laser prints, it was incredible.
So I tool the little Clie home, only to realize that I needed a new serial cradle (I use Win NT at work). I went back to Best Buy, but they had to send them all back to Sony about a week prior. I looked at a couple of online store that wanted $60. The Sony Store (www.sonystyle.com) didn't even have them. I eventually got one on ebay for $40. I was a little bummed, and I have yet to find a retail location with a good selection of accessories.
To answer a couple of questions brought up in comments, the serial cradle I purchased charges my Clie, so I've never got to the point of running low on batteries. If you didn't have that (and were using the standard charger), your battery life would depend on how much you used it, and what for (games tend to use more batteries than viewing your schedule).
As far as expansion, the Clie comes with 8mb of memory built in, and you can add addition memory through the Sony memory sticks.
