| Ablatus's Full Review: Sony Ericsson KF-788 Cell Phone |
My quest for an inexpensive, pocket sized cellular phone ended when I found the Ericsson 788. I was really looking for the Motorola Star-Tac but it was way too expensive for the digital/analog version. The Ericsson was small, had the vibrating feature and fit into the front pocket of my 501's.
I really needed these features. I travel a lot and didn't want to get stuck without my phone when I was in an analog only service area. I ruined two other cellular phones because they kept popping off of my belt during my job. Being able to fit it into my pants pocket is huge pluse. I don't even use the ringer. The vibrating feature is more than enough to alert me to an incoming call, plus get me a little excited! LOL Never thought I could be conditioned to want to get more calls on my cel phone!!
I didn't get the lighter adapter and wish I did. The battery lasts for about a day and a half, so you need to recharge it daily. There is a larger battery available but I would go with the smaller size and get the car charger, just in case you forget to charge it.
The memory feature is very easy to store numbers and you can go back 40 calls to find numbers who have called you. Very easy to use menu and flipping the cover open answers or closing hangs it up! I'd buy it again, if I was out shopping!
