Pros: Tons of functions, small, strong vibrate function
Cons: A little heavier than some other modern phones, weak selection of rings
The Bottom Line: The T61LX is a cheap, semi-lightweight, cool-looking phone that has great reception and many features.

| Lesh1018's Full Review: Sony Ericsson T61LX Cell Phone |
The Sony Ericsson T61LX is a fine phone with great functions. The body is small (it fits into the palm of your hand when talking, unless you have little baby claws for hands), although somewhat heavier than some other new phones. The phone has the capability to hook up with a PC, as well as wireless internet and text messaging. The price is right (I bought mine for $50) and the phone picks up the AT&T network very easily. The sound quality is very good and the signal can be picked up underground (such as in the Metro/subway). The phone does not come with many cool rings; pretty much all of the song-like rings are cheesy and annoying after the first time through, but there is the capability to download others from different websites (you need to purchase more wires and cords because they are not included). The display is nicely backlit so that you can see in the dark and in the light and the functions are easy to learn with or without the manual. The best thing about this phone is that the vibrate function is nice and strong so that you can really feel when someone is calling, unlike some other phones which have these weak vibrate option that you can't even feel. All in all, for the price, this phone is a great bargain.
