okay, so far every reviewer has reccomended this phone, and simply on the basis that it has a 'cool' blue backlight, its 'cute' it 'vibrates'. Well all of these may be true, but the simple fact is, the phone is useless! Having used and sold many of it's competitors, i can honestly say that in its class, it comes an effortless last!
There are numerous faults i have encountered on this phone and I would like to warn off any to-be buyers to go for say the nokia 8210, 8850!
Once you get past the cosmetic values of the phone, and actually try and use it, you will probably be happy with the intellegent interface, being well lit and simple to follow and with solataire and tetris rather then boring old snake and rotate, you'l feel glad you bought this phone!
Once you have completed the setting up of the phone and begin using the kit, you will realise how poor a job ericsson have done trying to compete with nokia. Instead of boring you with full explanations, I will simply list the faults i have encountered:
o the phone will randomly decide to turn itself off.
o when attempting to read through your address book, the software will become so overwelmed, that it will begin to display three copies of each entry.
o if you choose to make any changes, delete any texts, or simply use the options available on the phone, you will be waiting atleast 3 seconds for the operation to execute. Now this may seem like nothing, but when your trying to read through your text messages quickly, it will prove extremely annoying.
o Extremely inaccurate battery life meter, which can be as much as 50% inaccurate.
I will not bore you readers with the rest, just simply stay away from this phone if you have a choice. I recomend any nokia over this phone, and i have been put off all ericssons personally.
This, you may say could be that I have recieved a faulty phone, but the case is I have returned the phone for repair twice and still no improvement!
