Pros: Cute. Lightweight. Embedded WiFi.
Cons: Suffers from the engineering arrogance typical for Sony Vaio's: fair-weather-friendly software and hardware; needless customizations.
The Bottom Line: Not all that glitters is gold.

| ericblackx's Full Review: Sony VAIO SRX77P/C PC Notebook |
I bought this 18 months ago. It's still really sexy looking. By itself and in comparison to other laptops.
Its hard drive is very, very slow. The software and hardware have been seemingly customized by what? The elves of Sony? There is a Jogdial wheel near the touch pad and a Jogdial Guide that float on the XP desktop. In 18 months have never figured out how to use them properly.
I paid a premium for Sony craftsmanship that is really not up to industry laptop reliability or longevity standards. No longer trust Sony products. Probably try to avoid any kind of Sony - laptop or otherwise - in the future.
