Spring Air the back-breaker!

Pros: Spring Air is good for two years if your lucky, after that back aches.
Cons: I will never buy a Spring Air mattress again.
The Bottom Line: Do not buy a Spring Air Pillow top.
It does not last more than 2 1/2 years.

Short & sweet. We bought a Pillow top Spring Air top of line twin size mattresses. After three years they developed a three inch body impression. Not good for only three years. We notified the Spring Air people. After three weeks a Rep. arrived at my home along with the store owner where we bought the set. The Rep. did his routine inspection and said to me he will report his findings to the company (Spring Air). I had no idea what he found. One month later I heard nothing. Went to the store where I bought the set. I was told I had to call David at the Spring Air factory. I promptly did and David at the Spring Air Co. boldly told me that his Rep. could not find anything wrong with the mattresses other than normal wear. I told him that a three inch depression is not normal wear. His only option to me was to bring the set to the factory in Greensboro SC 100 miles from my home, and they will inspect the mattresses and repair or replace if necessary. I told him that I would have to rent a truck and drive two hundred miles (both ways) which I could not do. He replied I have no other option. I also asked him what my wife and I where going to sleep on while they were deciding our fate. Obviously his option to us was designed to make it as difficult and impractical to return the bedding. My advice to anyone who is looking for a mattress don't buy a Spring Air. Deal with a reputable company that will stand by their warranty and appreciate you as a customer.
