| missgussie's Full Review: Spring Air Back Supporter Mattress |
In April of 1997 we proudly brought home our new Spring Air Back Supporter Mattress, confident in it's long warranty. Now, almost five years later, I will proudly set fire to it in the front yard.
We always buy King, and with this one the salesman convinced us that a California King was even bigger. He (sort of) lied - they're LONGER, not WIDER. No help. We're not real tall, but have some weight.
The first few years were fine - a nice pillow top over an extra firm mattress (yes, we bought the foundation with it.) After about the third year, despite turning, flipping, and/or rotating this mattress, it declined to the point of no real support.
Oh, and the warranty? Well, Montgomery Ward is out of business, and their local Electric Avenue closed up a few years ago. Do I want to ship it to the factory and try to get a prorated credit? No. I think I'll burn it - and never buy another.
