Pros: Soft, comfortable, supportive - when new
Cons: Degrades quickly, forms deep valleys, robs us of good night's sleep
The Bottom Line: Don't waste your money. The warranty specifically rules out depressions in the mattress, calling them "Normal"

| pmad's Full Review: Spring Air Back Supporter Mattress |
We purchased our mattress 8 years ago and regretted it after less than one year. We turned and flipped it regularly; but, the pillow top quickly settled into two deep valleys, on both sides.
My wife weighs 130 pounds, and I weigh 185 pounds. Yet, this premium mattress has valleys that are roughly 2 inches deep where we sleep. The problem is that these uncomfortable valleys are not considered defects by the manufacturer. The warranty states:
"In the ordinary course of sleep set use, body impressions are normal and do not indicate structural failure. They are only an indication that the upholstery layers are settling..."
Well, I don't want to "settle", and you shouldn't, either. Do your research and find a bed with a real warranty. And read the fine print, like Spring Air's, which states:
"The warranty protects you against product defects and workmanship mistakes, not gradual loss of comfort and support."
