Pros: Fast, sturdy exterior
Cons: Expensive ink, heavy, won't print if runs out of any color, won't use generic cartridges
The Bottom Line: Pass this one; there are more advanced and better models out there.

| spencer195's Full Review: Epson Stylus® C80 InkJet Printer |
On the positive side, this inkjet printer is very fast.
On the negative side, the printer uses ink up very fast, and the ink can be very expensive.
Also, you will not be able to print at all if you run out of one color. For example, if you run out of yellow ink, you will not be able to print black text, or anything at all, until you replace the yellow ink. Also, even if you print only black text documents, the printer uses up a little of the color ink every time. To me, this seems like it could be some kind of scam to sell more ink.
I tried using two different brands of third-party cartridges with this printer, but repeatedly ran into issues where the printer simply sends pages through without putting any ink on the page, very little at all, or the output is heavily streaked. I repeatedly try to clean the cartridges, but this often has little effect, and if it does, the effect often wears off after a few prints. And this wastes even more ink, making me replace the cartridges even faster.
Then I went back to using Epson branded cartridges and everything seemed to be fine. The printer apparently does not let you use third-party cartridges.
