Pros: Honestly, it is difficult to think of one.
Cons: Applicator, HARD sell by customer service rep when trying to cancel.
The Bottom Line: Due to the cost, application and results, you are better off purchasing similar skincare products at the drugstore.

| nikona's Full Review: Susan Luccis Youthful Essence |
This was an impulse purchase made in the early morning hours, which is usually when the advertisements run. Now I regret this costly mistake.
I am 47 years old, so the tiny creases and age spots from early sun exposure are beginning to crop up. The user reviews on the television program were enticing, especially when discussing facial lines being minimized and pore sizes becoming smaller. On a recent visit to my dermatologist, he told me there is no way to permanently "minimize pore size" without the professional removal of skin layers, and even then there is minimal change. The size of our pores is part of our genetic make up. The pores can be made to "appear" to be smaller, especially after the skin is washed and toner is applied, or by using certain make-up lines that merely fill in the pores. Obviously, both of these are temporary fixes.
I used the product until it was gone and was not impressed. I have spent $55.00 on the Mary Kay skincare version and experienced the same outcome. Basically, I have found the smooth skin feeling is the same as when I use similar dermabrasion products, whether purchased from a high-end skin care line or at Walmart.
My biggest mistake was thinking the applicator rotated when turned on, making it easier to apply the product. Instead, it merely vibrates and the user has to turn the unit in circular motions on the skin. What good is the applicator when I can use both sets of fingers on my face to do the same thing, using an over-the-counter product?! I never thought to ask the customer service rep when ordering. When I watched the infomercial again, I realized they made no claim at all at how the applicator worked.
I highly suggest you do a little research online and see what products are recommended by women's health and beauty magazines, which can be purchased at a drugstore for a half the price and with similar or better results. You can then make a educated decision to purchase the Youthful Essence product. I constantly use the online reviews from this website before making purchases, and regret not taking a few minutes to do so. It is important to me to be sure others know about my experience, since I value the feedback given by others.
