Pros: Doesn't take up much space, good picture
Cons: Funky remote
The Bottom Line: It would be difficult to find a more cost-effective solution for watching both TV and videos.

| sped372's Full Review: Sylvania 6313CA 13 inch TV/VCR Combo TV |
This TV/VCR was one of the two options presented by my local Wal-Mart. Of course, I chose the less pricey option. I was pleasantly surprised. The picture on this TV is great, and the VCR has worked without a problem. Sure its got a small screen, but it says 13" right on the box, what do you expect? This wasn't meant to be a home theater, but a compact, space-effective substitute to buying two separate components. I'm not sure about the built in radio tuner, I guess it's a neat feature, but I don't really use it. The only problem I have with the package is the remote control. Whereas most TV's come with fairly self-explanitory controllers, this one has row upon row of buttons that all look the same - which makes discriminating between volume and channel controls a bit difficult. Apparently to counteract this problem, the VCR function buttons light up when the remote is used, but I think most people will be using this to watch TV more than movies so the advantage seems to be lost. Other than the remote control, the TV/VCR is great, it has many features that you might not expect to find on such a "budget-buy," like A/V inputs and time-scheduled recording. Overall, very happy with the unit.
