Pros: Great Price, Smart Features, Slick, and 8 MINUTES ANTISKIP.
Cons: A tad bulky, and lacking in a second navigation via headphone cord.
The Bottom Line: Best bang for the buck. TDK is a proven name. Rich features. Smart design. Buy it. Unless you're willing to pop 300 for a large capacity tiny (non-CD) MP3 player.

| shimunov's Full Review: TDK MOJO Personal CD Player |
Popped in a CD with 100 songs including rock, rap, blues, electronic and classical. Everything sounded GREAT, except for the N'STINK song that mysteriously got on. Ok, I put it there, but out of curiosity. Ok, I like it.
The things I know you want to know that REALLY count.. minus the TDK sales hype.
Super LOUD (if you want it to be). Perfect for a noisy commute. But please don't be that fool on the train who cranks it up beyond to blast beyond the vicinity of his SKULL.
Better and cheaper than its current competition. With rebates and free shipping out there, you could get one for less than $100. (MSRP $179)
Remembers the last song I played - days later - even after switching discs. In fact, it remembers the last 5 cds!
Saves energy! Since the MOJO preloads future MP3s into its memory while you're listening, the disc stops spinning and less spinning means more music with your batteries than your used to using a standard CD player. Standard CD files are quite large, so the spinning doesn't often stop.
Dropped 3 times, it's still ticking!
Intuitive navigation.. no numbers, no guessing.
A bundle of rebate programs out there at the moment. Check out "http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=mojo rebate"
Comes in BLACK & BLUE, none of that spiritual iMac translucent #@$*@
Since most MP3s fit well inside its memory cache, it can do 8 minutes anti-skip. On a regular CD, it does the standard 45 seconds.
Burning 100 songs on a CD can be hard to navigate through on a small LCD screen, but the MOJO reads folders, so make em!
Digital output lets you be a nerd and bring it to parties! But you'll need a wire from Radioshack. And your friend will need an audio input. [Great for car stereos, btw]
- No remote navigation on the headphones. Would have come in handy since most people want to pack the unit away and still retain control. It's about the size of an old Sony discman. Not tiny. No wonder it comes in black.
- Does not come with a pair of NiMH rechargeable batteries. You have to go out and buy them, but it does allow you to charge them from the player.
Overall, unless you're willing to pay for the emerging lines of tiny, fast, and pure MP3 players, the CD/MP3 hybrid is the way to go for the moment. And no one will rob you.. because it looks like a regular old cd player. :)
When the prices for those new tiny flash-based stuff come down, this will be the perfect hand-down for your technophobes around you.
I will update this review if things change.
Update: It's been years, still ticking. Currently in the hands of a 3rd party!
