I had been relying upon my mother's 22 year-old scale because I had not found exactly what I wanted. A SelfCare catalog came and inside I found the Tanita Body Fat Monitor. I checked prices online and found that it was well-priced, so I ordered it. I was not disappointed...
I love how easy it is to program and use. It gives accurate readings for weight and when used over time, it gives a good estimate of one's body fat. It is important to use it as the enclosed booklet advises. One use will not give an accurate estimate of body fat percentage.
I will probably replace my mother's old scale with one like mine or a newer model. It is an excellent gift for anyone who is health-minded.
