Pros: Cheap. Accurate against itself (and more or less accurate all the time)
Cons: Readings sometimes not on the money. Kinda small to stand on.

| howardbruin's Full Review: Taylor Precision Tech Lithium Scale 7000 |
I have been trying to lose weight and I was pretty darn sure that I was losing at about the rate of one pound per week. Buying this scale has reaffirmed my suspicion:-) While it is true that no scale, including this one, will be 100% accurate, I have found it to be very good at showing trends. Over 4 weeks I have gone from getting readings averaging 210.5 to 206. I think that clearly demonstrates that the scale at least is accurate against itself, when plotted over time. One way to assure "accurate results" is to always use it in the same location, and to plant your feet more or less in the same place, and not to shift/lean when getting a reading, as any variable like that could affect the scale. However, for $20, I'm more than happy with what this baby can do.
