Pros: Cheap. Small. Comfortable
Cons: Quirky. Unreliable.
The Bottom Line: Another unit to add to the "box of accessories that I never use". Nice attempt, but I'd rather have the reliability of a wired or bluetooth headset.

| jbenfield's Full Review: Tecnozone Vector Universal Wireless Hands Free Car... |
I've used a lot of headset and hands-free products over the years and I have to say that this is one of the most comfortable "ear hook" type products that I've ever used. It's also small and "techie" so you don't looks like a total idiot with it sticking out of your ear.
There are a lot of things that Tecno did right with this unit. Unfortunately, there are some glaring misses that mar it's usefulness.
On the plus side:
-More comfortable than any other earpiece that I've ever used. Only an over-the-head unit can beat this out for comfort.
-charger/dock arrangement is really sweet.
-Earpiece holds a charge for a very long time
-Sound quality is good when using the earpiece.
-Wireless headset is a real plus when driving
On the downside:
-The clip that holds the earpiece in the dock can not be easily released with one hand. (it's a chore even with two unless you have long nails)
-Earpiece uses infrared for communicating with the base and requires "line of site". When you turn your head to check your blind spots, you get a wicked blast of static in the earpiece.
-When using the speakerphone, there is a nasty echo on the other end of the line.
-Sound quality isn't the best. (not really bad, just not great)
-Speakerphone is triggered by leaving the earpiece in the dock. However, if the earpiece is fully charged, the speakerphone doesn't turn on (though this may be
For $20 it's hard to go wrong. But it may be money better applied towards a more expensive bluetooth headset.
