deedraa's Full Review: Jude Deveraux - Summerhouse
The Summerhouse was the first Judy Deveraux book I have ever read. Actually I listened to the abridged audio version of this book and really enjoyed the story.
The audio was only three tapes long, a quick but thoughtful story. The story is about three women that get together and are about to turn 40 years old. They later meet a woman that offers them the chance to go back in time to re-live a time in their life. It's interesting to see what choices they may make differently this time.
This book also makes you think about yourself. If you could go back in time and change something...would you? Remembering that if you do change your life's path that it may actually lead to a different ending and thus the husband or career you have now may not actually be the one you would end up with. It may me realize to be happy with what I have in life.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am now on my third Deveraux book.
