Some people reviewing golf clubs are full of fecal material.

Pros: The best irons for the buck.
Titleist Quality.
Cons: Might not be good for beginners.
Harder to find new.
Might be expensive.
The Bottom Line: Buy them after you can outgolf your "starter" clubs and you could potentially never need another set of golf clubs again.

| march813's Full Review: Titleist DCI 962 Irons |
Ok, so I read a few of the reviews on the Titleist 962 irons before I wrote mine.
First of all, the guy who was the "#1 reviewer" and other people who have reviewed these clubs sound like they know what they are talking about. Doubt it. Unless they are golf pros, I doubt they have all demoed the top 5 sets of irons and the top 10 drivers every time a new version comes out.
Here is where I stand, I am 25 years old, started playing golf my senior year of college(age 21). I have played golf using 5 different sets of clubs in my life, using only 3 of these sets more than once. I now shoot in the high 80s. (which I think is pretty good for how late I started) But anyway, the 3 sets of irons I have used regularly in my life are some Ping clones, a used set of Ping Eye 3s and my current set of Titleist DCI 962s that I got used from eBay for about 350 bucks.
I am comparing the Titleists to my old Pings. Here is my golf recommendation, if you want new irons, try Titleists, if you want a new putter, save your money and get a Ping.
The 962s make great contact with the ball. Almost all forged irons usually do. If you have a decent swing, you will hit the ball well with these clubs. If you don't have a good swing, I recommend going to eBay or Play it Again Sports and buying some used clones until you "feel" differences in how well you make contact or strike the ball.
I am not a good golfer but these clubs always feel good when I hit the ball. I know as long as I make good contact with the ball, it will be a fairly decent shot.
It is a nice feeling to have. Mis-hits I felt before honestly were eliminated once I switched.
The 962s are a fairly popular Titleist model and one used across all handicap levels. An interesting fact is that the 962s are the same model Davis Love uses on the PGA Tour. I know anyone can go out and buy the same golf clubs as someone on the PGA tour but my recommendation is to save your cash, buy these and use the rest of your money on greens fees.
The set of clubs you use isn't going to make you a great golfer but I guarantee these will make you a better one.
