I bought this set of DCI 962 golf clubs about a year ago. Since then I have not found any other club that can even remotely compete with this club. I personally have gone from a 12-handicapper to a 6-handicapper in the year I have owned these clubs. I have lost about 1/2 of a club in distance from using these golf clubs, but it was well worth it for the accuracy that I gained.
These clubs are without a doubt for the better players (15-handicapper or better). They have very little offset which for higher handicappers will cause a slice that of course everyone hates. They have the look of a traditional blade from above though they have cavities. This golf club's design will make much easier for players to work the ball which in turn will help you to score lower.
Most higher handicappers will not benefit from using these golf clubs. They should probably buy something that is an oversize iron. These clubs will produce a slice most of the time for high handicappers and cause a lost of distance and accuracy. A better titleist golf club for these players would be the DCI 981's.
Though these are great golf clubs, I would not recommend them to anyone who has a handicap of above 15. For those of you with handicaps of lower than 15, you would greatly benefit from using these clubs. David Duval who is currently the second rated player in the world uses these clubs. For those of you who would like to try a different model should try the DCI 990's which is titleist's newer club for better players. I have not tried these yet, but I hear that they are every bit as good as the DCI 962's if not better.
