| Kristoff's Full Review: Toshiba Satellite Pro 4280ZDVD (PS428U-0Q1538B) PC... |
This unit is definitely geared towards business consumers. It's price margin is well above what an average consumer would pay for a personal machine, however, it's reliability and quality are extremely high. I have been selling the Toshiba lineup of Laptops for several years now, and their history in our tech department is close to null.
This particular unit comes equipped with pretty much everything you'll need to get started. Plenty of power, and a nice size display, this bad boy will surely help you with your business requirements. It's battery life will range between 3-6 hours depending on the level of performance you demand, and it's flexible keyboard will comfort your hands after hours of work.
It comes standard with 64MB PC-100 S-DRAM, however, I do recommend you upgrade that to 128 or 160MB directly with your purchase. The current price of RAM has hit rock bottom, and your performance with this simple upgrade can increase by 30 - 60% depending on the application(s) you are running.
I could carry on for paragraphs about their features, but I will just say that with my experience in over 12 brand-named laptop lineups, the Toshiba can be classified as one of the best.
If you are looking for a great machine, seriously consider this or any of the Toshiba lineup. You wont be disappointed!
