I get the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix from a friend of mine who sells pet supplies on Ebay and Craigslist. She sells them to me by the lot. I buy 10 bags at one time and pay only $14.00 total for all of it. That is certainly not a bad price. The cheapest going rate besides the price I pay for the bags is $3.99 for a bag. The deal I get is great. However, honestly if I had to pay full price some place I would do it. My rabbits are all fond of the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix
Description and facts:
The Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix comes in 4-8 ounce bags in most pet stores. These treats can be fed as part of a daily diet for your rabbits but should not be the whole diet for them. They do need to continue with regular rabbit food and what ever else you normally feed them. These are to be used as a treat, yet they can be mixed in with your rabbits food for added taste. I will explain my method of saving money and feeding treats below under my use section. Because there are way to meet your rabbit's dietary needs, love of treats and save your self some cash at the same time.
These treats are loaded down with all things good and nutritious for your pet rabbits. This is certainly a treat that any rabbit would go crazy for in my opinion. The Extreme Rabbit trail mix contains pineapple, papaya, banana, green peas, corn, flour, Timothy Hay Meal, peanuts, pumpkin seed, carrots, dates, apricots, rice flour, potato starch, and even soy sauce. I know it sounds odd but they love this stuff.
The nutritional issues are one thing. This is also good for other health aspects. The Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix is excellent for reducing hair balls. Who ever owns rabbits, mostly ones with longer fur like mine, knows that hair balls can not only gag them, it can also choke them to a degree. Also it is pretty nasty to see the outcome when they do choke it out. It is just as bad as a long haired cat some times. But the ingredients found in the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix can help this issue, or as in our case, eliminate it too.
My use for it:
The Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix rabbit treat can be used as a basic treat put in an empty bowl, or you can use it my way and save some money and provide your rabbits with extra fun. First off. I buy a 20 pound bag of regular rabbit pellets. Then I dump the bag as much as it will fill a five gallon bucket "with lid of course". I add 2 bags of the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix rabbit treats to it. Once it is mixed up, your talking only 8 ounces of rabbit treat to roughly 8 pounds of rabbit food. That means they get just a minor amount mixed in every bowl of food. This is my way of stretching the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix rabbit treats out between our rabbits. We have Mindy, Chesney, Ringo, Archie, April, and 15 babies for obvious reasons. That is a lot of rabbits to feed. Feeding the treats this way ensures that they each get some each and every day with their regular diet.
The other way that I choose to use the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix rabbit treats is a fun way to keep the rabbits busy. First I take empty toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, or my favorite "because they are strong" wrapping paper rolls cut in to sections. I lightly graze the rolls with a baster that has honey on it. Then I pour a bag of the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix rabbit treats out in to a square container and roll the tubes gently over the treat mix until it is coated evenly. Now I poke a hole through the top on either side and loop a piece or yarn through. Then tie it on to the cage. Yay a treat and a toy all in one. And it is simple and easy to do. If you buy treat sticks made the same wy it will cost you triple the price then it would to do it this way. And when the rabbits get all of the treat off which can take hours to days, they often take the paper roll off too and toss it to play with it.
So as you can see the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix can make a fun treat, and a very low cost one too. Keep in mind you don't need t get fancy like that. You can always just toss it in their dishes like I did at first. However I have saved more money this way and have provided my pets with more fun things to do because I choose to make a toy and treat out of the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix for them.
My recommendation:
Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix is the best. I really like it for my pets. Like I said, it is very low cost and saves me money, it helps their health as far as hair ball production and provides my pets with extra nutrition. I can't ask for any thing more then that for my pets needs. I am glad that I started buying the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix for them. It is not the only treats that they get, but it is now one of the daily ones. Even if it is slightly mixed with a lot of food. This just ensures me that they are getting what they want and need at the same time with out breaking me and leaving me penny less.
This rabbit treat is so simple yet great for rabbits. I see nothing wrong with it in any way. It would not be good as a regular diet with no foods though. It is a treat and that is what it needs to be used as. I am even exited writing this review. I know how much my rabbits enjoy the Extreme Rabbit Trail Mix. So I am hoping to put the word out and get other people to try it for their pet rabbits as well. It is nice to see your pet both healthy and happy at the same time and this is one way to do that. I do very highly recommend this rabbit treat.
