| catmandoo2's Full Review: Troy-Bilt 6.5hp Super Bronco Tiller |
I purchased the tiller when my wife decided to start a garden about 30'X30'. We looked at several brands but I felt none compared to Troy-Bilt. After SHE assembled it in about an hour I took her (5"8" 130lbs) out to give it a try. It performed as good as I thought it would.
One thing I would have liked is self contained wheel locks, so I made them, but the pin system isnt as bad as others make them out to be.
She didnt go on the jerking yanking trips around the yard as so described by others, but I guess she has more sense than that (let go of it dummy). A tiller this size is designed for tilling existing gardens not roughing them in so to start a new garden set the cutting depth to the first notch and take your time.
HINT: For first time gardens spray the area with Round-Up two weeks prior, and it will work great.
All in all we will be using this machine for many years. Any one that gives this machine any less than 5 Stars doesnt know what there talking about (Im a Diesel Mechanic,I know Machinery) and needs to read Roto-Tilling for Dummies. The quality is impeccable, I dont know about Customer Service because in 6 years Ive never needed it.
