In their prime ...young that is, but very talented. For a band straight out of Stockholm, they did the right thing by coming to America to distribute their new music. They have that all American sound--nothing foreign or uniquely different about these Euros!
But on another note, this band has definitely, positively laid down a great album. They have that alt. rock/punk rock kind of style, where the music is very up and energetic like rock, but has that immature quality that punk does. VERY ENTERTAINING. The sound is terrific from beginning to end. For their debut album, they have made it superior in quality, consistent in sound, and exciting through and through! The album features very catchy tunes, happy sounds, and really great musicianship. Again, for a debut album they really out did themselves. Not many newbies can come to the scene and generate an effective first album, and many only succeed at creating a successful single. These guys rock and rock on!
Their song content is mature (no parental advisory), easy to listen to, and is very enthusiastic. By listening to them, you can tell that they have been playing as a band for a long time, and that they definitely have great chemistry. The end result? Great music. This is not a time waster. It's a definite buy. Go get it and see for yourself.
