Excellent Phone and Form Factor

I obsessed about phones for quite awhile and thought I wanted a smartphone that had wifi. I ordered an unlocked HTC phone (precursor to the Tilt) and tried it out for a while. Being able to text with a full QUERTY keyboard and being able to connect to wifi networks was nice, but not worth lugging the huge phone around. Also, I didn't really use the smartphone capabilities of Windows Mobile.

I got the Sony Ericsson as an upgrade from ATT thinking that I'd just test it, and I love it. The camera is excellent--gives a soft quality to all pictures, but with high resolution. I never thought I'd like a slider but it's fine. And I can check my ATT/Yahoo email very easily with not much data download cost. The mobile browser works fine for the occasional reading of the New York Times that I do while waiting. I find that I do not miss having free wifi since my usage is so low. Also, I can synch my Outlook calendar with the phone very easily using either Bluetooth or USB.

Also, this is unrelated to this particular phone, I was pleased to discover that sending or receiving a picture either to or from another phone or to or from an email address costs the same as sending a single text message.
