Better listen to your mother on this Vitamin advice. In our family we have been taking Vitamin B-12 100 MCG every other day for many years. Why? because we eat mostly Vegetarian Foods and do not get enough B-12 in our regular diet. We get some B-12 from our regular intake of Tofu (Soybean)every day but it may not be enough to take care of the body's needs. We recommend that you go to a Nutritionist for an evaluation of you body needs and take whatever vitamins and minerals you might be lacking in your normal diet. Because we seem to need B-12,we take it in small enough doses so we do not upset the balance of supplements taken each day. We try not to create a vitamin overdose or toxic reaction.
