Pros: Quick shingle painting, not need to thin out paint
Cons: my arms are sore!
The Bottom Line: worth the hundred bucks, it would of taken me days to paint shingles by hand 2 coats (and color change)

After reading alot of reviews I was a bit nervous about trying this. I have a raised ranch with alot of shingles I wanted to paint 2 coats, so I bought the 3 speed wagner powersprayer at Home Depot for 100.00. I feel that those who had bad experiences didn't read the directions before using. The bottom line, I put two coats on the front of my house in about 3 hours. I did spend a few hours the night before taping plastic on the windows and doors.
I actually only used the little bottle to fill with paint, but I managed to get all area sprayed per ladder climp, and when it started to sputter that would mean it's time to refill (it's half full when it's empty).
I did try the put the tube right in the 5 gallon bucket, and it took forever to prime, and it wasn't a good spray pattern so I went back to refilling the little jug.
I didn't attempt on using the backback because of what I read, but I'm going to try it next time.
If you also notice, most bad reviews are by professional painters. Obviously a pros sprayer will be a good one that will work better, but not feasable for the homeowner to own.
