Yevgeny Zamyatin's "WE" really makes the everyday layman think about what it means to preserve his rights. Happiness in front of freedom will work only when you do not know freedom. This author deserves a standing ovation. His book should be read by every child in america that questions society. I am not surprised that books like this including this work are no where to be found in the public library system. I have read its "sister novels" Brave New World, and 1984, but this one proves to be the superior work of the three. His writing style sets your mind at ease, so you are willing to accept whatever he puts forth. The OneState, that he describes is the same way. This is an excellent read for all ages and anyone who questions every day authority
