Webkinz are a popular toy craze for children and adult alike. Years ago it was Beanie Babies from Ty, and now its Webkinz from Ganz. If you are unfamiliar with Webkinz they are a plush toy that comes with a special online code that brings your plush to life in the virtual Webkinz World located at the www.webkinz.com website.
When my now 7 year old son got started with Webkinz, it all started out with the Frog. After that it was all downhill from there as he quickly added up all the different frogs variations that were available. I bought the Bull Frog in a "bundle" of frogs online from eBay - they were all "new with unopened tags" which is important if you want to be able to register your Webkinz and adopt it on the Webkinz world. I wasn't having a lot of luck finding the Bull Frog in the stores near me, which normally sell Webkinz in the $12.99-$14.99 price range. As it turned out I was able to get a great deal by buying them by the lot and it worked out to me getting them for less than $10 a piece!
About the Webkinz Bull Frog
The Bull Frog is the largest of the Webkinz Frogs and is approximately 10" at the largest point. He is mostly spotted - a combo of lime green, olive green and black in what almost looks like a army camo. The underside of the Bull Frog plush is a creamy yellow color which spans from beneath his mouth - his big bull frog throat, his belly and the bottoms of his froggy feet. On of the bottom of one of his feet is the magic "W" for webkinz. As with other Webkinz the Bull Frog is suggested for ages 3 and up, and is surface washable.

Why, a place for your Bull Frog to sit upon and be the "king" of the frogs. This throne reminds me a lot of the Spotted Frog Sofa which is the special item for the Spotted Frog, except it only seats one. If you have both frogs the two pieces do work quite well together and also go well with the W-shop Lily Pad theme. For a time our Spotted Frog and Bull Frog shared a room until my son decided to make the Bull Frog a "castle in the clouds" room complete with an in-room bowling alley and a floating Super-Bed which you get for adoption #10 and every five adoptions beyond that. So, now our Bull Frog truly does have a room fit for a king.
Pet Exclusive Food: Savoury Swamp Stew
The Bull Frog pet special food item is this Savoury Swamp Stew which they give you a free serving of. After that you can purchase this using the virtual kinzcash currency at the W-shop (25KC). My son loves the frogs special food items because they look pretty gross, this stew included - it is after all made of bugs, grubs and algae. You can see the grubs floating in it at the top of the bowl.
The Webkinz Bull Frog has been a fun addition to our family of Webkinz frogs. My son likes the Bull Frog quite a bit, I believe because of its large size and camo coloring. I was just "so-so" on the Bull Frog because to me it feels more like a plush you might get out of one of those claw machines between its very low pile almost velour plush and hard stuffed body. What appeals to me and what clearly appeals to my kids is quite different however. This one is a hit for my frog loving little boy and will be a welcome addition to anyone who is collecting the Webkinz frogs specifically. Personally I think the Bull Frog is more geared to little boys (like my 7 year old son), but my almost 3 year old daughter likes him too.
