I though it was a good detector!!

Duchek's Full Review: Whistler DE-1630 Radar Detector
I had bought this radar detector over a year ago and really liked it up to a week ago. This radar is supposed to have the ability to jam the signal of a patrol car that has radar detector detector device. Well this simply does not work at all. Luckily the police did not take my radar detector away but I got a $75 fine out of the deal. It has on occasion saved me from a couple speeding tickets so I guess I am not out any money. The only other problem I had was with the fuse blowing in the adaptor cord. It would always blow the fuse if I unhooked the cord from the detector before turning the switch off on it. Overall though, I am not happy with it or severely annoyed with it.
