pbwise's Full Review: Whoa, Nelly by Nelly Furtado
I was introduced to Nelly Furtado about 8 months ago when I was at a concert and someone was handing out bumper stickers promoting her. I then came home and listened to some of her songs online and thought she sounded different and interesting.
My friend picked up the CD at a used music store and I listened to it. I was amazed at her voice and the different types of music that are on the CD. She even sings in Portugese on one of the tracks.
I do not believe though that "Like a Bird", the first single is the best track on the CD. Nelly has gotten a lot of press recently and it seems like her popularity is growing by leaps and bounds everyday.
I am glad to say that I was a fan of hers before this and can't wait to see when she releases her next album what kind of sound she will have
