We thought we would wait until our lease was up to write about this car. Really isn't much you can say bad about the SLK 32 AMG other than a weak interior. However, I look at the 2004 and I see they did some improvements. I bought this car for my wife over the Porsche Boxter S because she just fell in love with this one after driving it. The 0 to 60 gets ratings from 4.5 seconds to 5.1 seconds. That just takes your breath away. The retractable top is smooth and has not had any problems in the two years of owning the vehicle. Really only a few issues this car had. One was the windows leaked a little when power washing or taking through a drive in car wash. Two would be the interior rattles a bit after about 10,000 miles. Three, be ready to replace the back tires every 15,000 miles. this car is heavy and also has lots of power....so back tires will need replacement at 15,000 miles no matter how you drive. All in all, this car was a ton of fun and we just loved picking on the little kids in their so called sports cars. You will certainly get a lot of attention in this one!
