I bought this Logitech optical mouse as a replacement for my Microsoft Intellimouse Optical mouse when my puppy chewed through the cord. I think I should thank my puppy. I am so much happier with this Logitech optical. The hand fit is so much nicer. It's not too big and comfortable for anyone to use. I am left handed but usually use the mouse right handed. Occasionally, when my hand is tired, I will switch the mouse over to my left hand and find this one is just as easy to use left handed as right. I like the design of this mouse with the black and gray matte color. The third button is small and not in the way if you choose not to use it. I have not installed the software that came with the mouse. I was happy to have the plug and play ease of installing the new mouse.
The optical feature makes the use of a mouse pad obsolete. I can sit back and use the mouse on my knee if I want to be more comfortable. There is no hesitation in the mouse pointer that I can detect.
I would recommend this optical mouse to anyone.
