Compaq has come a long way the last few years. A couple of years ago any computer was better than theirs. Now its a best buy value. Compaq presario series are excellent computers at awesome prices. As a computer science major I know computers and for personal use there is none better. It is great for the kids to play games and for everybody to use the internet. Compaq is also running deals with internet servers for a $400 rebate if you agree to a internet contract. This is allowing you to get a top computer under $1000!!! That is an awesome deal. Compaq has fix most of there flaws from years ago and is right there at the top for personal computers. Then with its cheap prices and internet packages its blows the competition away. Compaq has a variety of choices of software that comes with the computer. These packages are normally very generous also. Another great value. I strongly recommend the presario series for a personal and family computer.
