great price and speed, but too many problems for $1500

I bought this built to order PC based on the 7000z series for the price and features. It was a great value, for $1500 (after $150 instant staples and $200 compaq rebate) I got a DVD, CD-RW, Athlon 800 processor, 30gb hard drive, 128 internet cache, and 17" moniter. However the problems began immediatly, the computer detected joysticks and Human Interface Devices that were never there, therefore slowing and sometimes crashing my computer. Some problems were remidied by the helpfull 1-800-GO-COMPAQ number but others still remain. Awesome when hooked up to my stereo, great installation speed, and program opening speed. Bottom line, if you can find another computer with these features at this price buy it and hope it's more reliable. If not expect problems and periodic freezing and crashing while trying to run several (5+) programs.
