Overall I have had a very good and easy time using my notebook. It is very durable being that everyday it is with me on another flight going to some other city. The DVD does run a bit slow sometimes and locks the computer up, but i did not buy it for that. Internet access is outstanding. You are able to have many windows open at one time, most of the time it is able to handle you working in different fields until you try to have about 15 different windows while downloading software and other such things off of the net. I was having problems with pictures for a bit of time, but then I'd learned that was my own doing when I had downloaded the software. In most instances I have had a great time with the notebook. I have been using it almost a year now, and I have had very minimal problems. If I have had a problem the customer service is right there to assist me in my tribulations... 24 hours. I am still finding software on this thing that I did not know existed, there is a lot.
I would say that someone that travels a lot and wants to pick up a computer with no specific idea of what they really want to do, but be online for now, yet have the potential to do things later on with their computer would benefit best from this.
I had heard plenty of good advice to pick this up, 'it has lots of software on it', was one of the things that i heard. They had also told me that it is durable, which it is.
I have only bought a scanner that I use very often with this, yet I am able to hook it up to my friends Computers... the USB port comes in very handy. I have not run into anything yet that it does not work with. So, that I could not tell you.
