Let me begin by saying that I am pretty much computer illiterate but I do know what I like.
I received my Toshiba 1555CDS in January for my birthday. I have a desk top Compaq so I didn't really need the laptop but I sure am grateful my husband got it for me!
Let me give you some of the specs on this computer:
PROCESSOR AMD K6-2
SPEED 380 MHz
RAM 32 MB
HARD DRIVE 4.3 GB
I don't have a need for a loaded computer so this one is great for me. I did find that it was a little slow and I bought 64 MB more this past weekend and I really can notice an improvement.
I guess the main thing I don't like is the fact that there is no mouse. It is hard to get used to the little ball in the middle of the keyboard but I'm learning. I did purchase a mouse this past weekend too but I didn't get a very good quality, I'm going to have to get a better one soon.
If you have the opportunity to get a laptop I highly recommend the Toshiba 1555CDS.
