| sweety-b's Full Review: 3Com Audrey-Linen Handheld |
I think the new Audrey may not be as useful as other Palm products, or even a personal computer. It seems to say that it can organize your family life, but, with so many families on the go, who has the time to sit there and type in all of the schedules of all of the family members? Also, it lacks much in the web-browsing department, so I can`t see how it can compete with the basic home computer.
Now, I love 3Com....I love my Palm IIIxe!!...but I can`t see why anyone would want to buy this thing.
But my question is, "Why doesn`t 3Com promote that fact that you can surf the NET on any Palm device?"
Everyone knows you can get connected on the VII. But if you purchase a modem, you can surf the NET on all of the other devices.
So, if the price of the VII is too steep, I recommend that people invest in a smaller Palm, buy a modem, and then you have a cheaper organizer, with some of the same capabilities as the VII.
