People are curious to see what i have in my hand. I do lots of writing and this device is the perfect companion for me to write down ideas and thoughts. The music player connected to a speaker system is superb. With a CF card of mp3's you can use it as a walkman. I use it as an eBook and read on it. I never forget birthdays either
The software bundle is supreme. Including titles such as Pocketword and Pocketexcel. I utilize its great sound to be used as an alarm clock. It is the best alarm clock. I am constantly traveling and need it to wake me up in the mornings.
Perfect for the busy student who is familiar with windows operating systems. This is a fast and reliable version of the Hp Jornada's out today. PocketPC is very stable. hasn't ever crashed on me. I owned a Hp Jornada 420, and windows ce 2.0 OS crashed constantly.
a couple bad thigs about it are..
---Though I hardly use it outside, using it in the daylight is useless. somehow the screen is not strong enough to be seen. In dimlight, and darkness it lights up your face, even on the lowest setting!!
---The speed of transfering files over 1 mb is lacking. To upload a 3.2mb MP3 file takes 40minutes through serial cable. The USB connection is about the same speed.
---lasts for only a week with regular use, i would like to see it run for at least 2 weeks.
If you want to use a PDA to play MP3's and surf the web in an all-in-one device, this is currently the best one to get. if you are not, I would suggest the IPAQ if you have the money. To play MP3's or connect a modem on the IPAQ requires a larger module to be connected to the IPAQ to insert a CF card.
