| TOOLgirl's Full Review: Epson Expression 800 Flatbed Scanner |
I needed a scanner. I had just recently turned to graphic design freelancing full time, which meant I could no longer sneek scans at my place of employment (probably because there was no place of employment). Anyway, I had to have something that didnt cost an arm and a leg, and was high enough quality to send out final artwork to be printed.
So, when you need a scanner, who better to turn to than your techie friends who really have nothing better to do than sit around reading magazines and websites. Im CERTAINLY not mocking these people, because, how else am I going to get my information....read that boring techie junk myself? It was through these friends that I came upon the Epson 800-Professional with an attachable Transparency unit.
Anyone who has used a high quality scanner KNOWS just how stinkin slow they can be.....you sit there waiting and waiting just for a preview of what you want to scan. Then you have to wait another hundred years to capture the actual scan. Well, no more waiting with the E800.
My point is, the Epson 800 Professional scanner is fast, easy to use and really great quality....if you dont believe me, ask Epson.
