Great Speakers - Great Price

I must confess that I have not heard the $30 Cambridge speakers rated as "#2" in ePinions, but these Midiland speakers are very impressive. An excellent and detailed review can be found at C-Net's website, where it was an "editor's pick" (which I assume is a good thing). I strongly agree with everything mentioned in the review, except Midiland improved the speaker wire connections (CNet's only gripe) and mine are just fine.

I have found the speakers faultless to date and noticed that a set can now be had for just over $100. I paid almost $80 more, but would do so in a heart beat.

While I have never tried to turn up the volume to "Max", I have had them fairly loud and experienced no distortion, popping, or cracking. I have also found the bass response to be more than adequate. Love watching my DVDs with these seakers.

Install was painless and the control module fit perfectly into my expansion slot.
