Pros: So fast, like reading a magazine!
Cons: Expensive
The Bottom Line: If you are even an occasional internet users, I would highly recommend switching to a cable internet provider. You will never go back to dial-up!!

We have been connecting to the internet for 8 years and started with a 4800 bps connection! Boy, how times have changed!!
When I first heard about Road Runner cable internet connection, I had a few doubts. Could it really be that fast? Is it worth the $41.95 per month?
Yes, it is that fast. Most of the time it is like reading a magazine. One click and the page is loaded. At peak times, there may be a slight delay, but still much faster than any dial-up connection.
Yes, it is worth the money. I could never go back to a dial-up service again, even a free one!
Another great thing about cable internet service is that it is "always on". That means that there is no connecting to a service. It is just like using any other programs on your computer. When using a dial-up service, there were times when I would go offline and then think "Oh, no, I forgot to check something". I would have to dial up again, wait for the connection, then (slowly) get the information I needed. There is none of that with this connection!
There have been a few times in the past 9 months when I have not been able to connect to the internet through the service. It gets frustrating, but had the same problems occasionally with my dial-up services.
Customer service is excellent! I was given incorrect information by one agent and, after speaking with a supervisor, was able to encourage them to honor the word of that agent.
