| twnguy808's Full Review: JVC RX-6000V 5.1 Channels Receiver |
Kind of new to the whole home theater scene. Went to the military exchange and saw this receiver for $179.00. Had DTS as well as a cool blue dot matrix display. Figured that i couldn't go wrong at that price. I guess for the price I can't complain. It has all the features I would ever need for my home theater. I have it hooked up to a pair of JBL HLS 820s and HLS Center and Polk surround speakers. Sounds pretty good, however the center channel is kind of weak but can be remedied by turning up the center channel volume. The surround speakers sound mushy every now and then. This receiver is ok for starters. My recommendation is to pay a little more and get something better. I plan to eventually upgrade sooner or later. Also the remote control is kind of limited and not very user friendly.
