I received this CD player from my parents for Christmas. I really didn't think about getting a portable CD player until my parents saw this deal at Best Buy. They were selling these for $20 after rebate and they asked me if I wanted one. I told them sure since it was a good deal. I am glad they bought it I really like it.
This Sony CD Player doesn't have a lot of features ,but it has really great sound. I popped in my Three Doors Down CD and the sound quality was VERY good. When I pushed the Mega Bass button it almost blew me off my chair. Digital display lets you see what track your playing and amount of time for each track. You can program to play random tracks or repeat tracks. If you need to stop during a song press stop, when you return and press play it starts again where you left off.
You can either use two double AA batteries or an AC/DC adapter(was included with mine). You can also use a Car adapter(not included). I really like that the CD doesn't skip at all. This has a really nice shock protection, no matter how much I moved around it didn't skip. It comes with really nice headphones that adjust well and are comfortable.
For the price this was a GREAT buy. I am sure their are portable CD players that are better and have a lot more functions. This one I highly recommend if you just looking for GREAT sound and skip free listening. Sony always makes a great product and this CD player is one of them.
