I have recently purchased this item from an online store for a great price of $100. I have to say that I am totally satisfied and even amazed with this product. I have never used a cd player with such good features or quality and skip protection. The discman is the smallest one I have ever held, which is a good feature because it takes up less room than most other portable cd players. This discman also has the best anti-skip protection ever...not once did it skip when I hit it, tapped it or shook it around while listening to a cd...and even when I went running! The back-lit LCD feature that is activated when you plug it into a wall socket or your car lighter is absolutely brilliant because it makes the LCD viewable in tunnels or at night time (when in the car) or in your room when the lights are low or out. This discman even came with the entire car kit! You don't even have to go out and spend $30+ on a separate car kit...it comes with the lighter adapter and tape adapter, as well as an AC adapter so you can plug it into your wall. If you want a high quality inexpensive way to listen to music while being active or driving in your car I suggest you go purchase this unit!
