| vanny84's Full Review: Panasonic KX TC1450 900 MHz 1-Line Cordless Phone |
This phone is something i could not live without. I run an office and it is quite large, and when i receive calls i am usually in the middle of doing something. When i got this phone, it made my life a great deal easier. Being cordless i can walk around and continue what i was previously doing before the call, it has an extra long range on it so i can talk from anywhere in my office and it even works when i am downstairs in the street which is about 50m away. Being used in an office environment stretches the phone to its full potential. With paperwork lying everywhere and the office being so big, loosing the handset is quite easy and when i found out about the handset locator, it made it easy to find. It constantly kept ringing until you found the phone and pressed the cancel button. It often gets quite noisyin my office, through conferencing between employees or the traffic which is only round the corner, but with the option to increase or decrease the volume of the handset is a real plus, especially if you have a hearing problem. The phone has a maximum talk time of 8 hours, which is when the phone is used at maximum range, but lasts longer when used closer to the receiver, and if for some reason the phone's batteries do go dead, it can be charged up and ready to go in about 4 hours. A lot quicker than any other phone we have used. I thing i really find handy, is the belt clip. It fastens to your belt/pants and holds the phone. A nifty gadget which has the phone with you all the time without you knowing it. If you have or suffer from line interferrence when talking on the phone, this phone is a must with its built in noise reduction system, it trys to get rid of the distorion usually heared in long distance calls, you dont need to flip a switch, it just does it itself. Quite remarcable. All up this phone was a great buy and has saved me plenty of money with improved productivity as my employees can continue doing what they were when they were called. It has all the features you could ever possibly want in a phone and more. It is relaible and attractive and isn't as chunky as some of the other cordless phones. One thing i dont like though is that there are a few too many buttons. But i seem to of forgotten about them now.
A great product by sony.
