Ever since I can remember I have always bought and used panasonic telephones. When they introduced the KX-TC1700B model I purchased it at a local department store for around a hundred dollars. I liked it because of the quality I have been used to when using panasonic products. The range for a cordless phone usually is not much more than any room in your house but this model seems to go a good distance before losing the signal. Our phone has also been kid tested at our house and has been found to be far superior than any other cordless phone I have used before. One of the more interesting tests its been put through was the "TOILET" test. Our 15 month old baby has dropped it in the toilet twice recently and after a thorough cleaning and drying it still works like new. If you ever find yourself shopping for a cordless phone I would highly recommend any model of panasonic. you wont go wrong.
