Of all the audiophile equipment I have heard this is the finest. Not only does it sound phenomenal but it is an artistic masterpiece. This electrostatic/tube design is cutting edge. Highs are crystal clear, mids sweet and natural with the best bass of any electrostatic speaker I've heard. Soundstaging and imaging are very good for a headphone. The frequency response is an astonishing 7-100,000 Hz. The headphones have a 10 ft cable with a proprietary plug. The amp will drive two headphones should you want to add another headphone. (that'll cost you half of the total price)
You will also be able to keep children/grandchildren/spouses from using the Orpheus without approval - a key is needed to fire it up. Now that's cool! Hey dad, can I borrow the key to the Orpheus tonight?????? Pleeeease!
These are a limited edition of 300 and 292 have been sold as of this writing so if you truly want one you'd better hurry cause they are going fast!
