Pros: looks, build quality (made in Japan), foldable
Cons: lack of midrange, high price
The Bottom Line: These are good looking, extremely portable headphones that can be taken anywhere. If you need good looking headphones these aren't bad.

I paid $60 Canadian for these at the Sony store. I needed some decent looking headphones that wouldn't sound too bad to take to school. I'm mostly satisfied with these.
For $60 the sound isn't that great, but better than what you might expect from a mass market Sony product thats marketed at teenagers that don't know what good sound is (I'm one that does know what good sound is). Surprisingly instead of having lots of muddy bass and poor treble (these are marketed at teenagers) they have pretty good treble but lack midrange and bass. The bass is pretty tight but theres not much of it. The midrange is very lacking. The highs are clear but kind of harsh causing listening fatigue on loud music. My old cd player couldn't push much bass through these, however I just bought a brand new Sony D-EJ915 that I'm going to return next weekend (I'll review that later to explain why) and the D-EJ915 has a way better bass boost. I can crank the bass up to level 2 (depending on the music i'm listening to) and I can now get deep, heavy bass thats not too muddy out of these with no distortion. This improved the sound a lot and the sound isn't as harsh now.
However I'm returning that cd player cause of a problem with cd-r's and I'll have to find something else that will hopefully sound as good.
The build quality is very good and these headphones are made in Japan. They feel like they should last a while.
For the price I think they should have including a leather carrying case for them, but oh well.
