This item was given to me by my father, who won it in a raffle. I was in need of a new portable cd player because my old one was inferior, and it would skip if a fly landed on it. This system comes with it's own headphones, and they are good, but I prefer my Sony headphones. The sound on this player is good, but the best part is the anti skip, it really is a improvement over earlier models. The system is durable, I have dropped it a few times and it shows no damage. When you put a cd in, you lock the lid down on both sides and that gives the system more durability. If you are looking for a portable cd player priced under 150.00, this is a system you should check out.
There is one minor problem with this system. If you use the system everyday like I do, you will need to replace the batteries almost every week. There is a plug in power adapter for the system, and it works well, but when you are on a bus or train you have no way of using it, so you will have to use batteries.
